Here on site you will find our professionally installed, heated, fenced swimming pool 12x6 metres with roman steps. Boules court, table tennis, childrenâs swing, slide and trampoline with safety net. The 18th century farmhouse and adjacent cottage (one unit) is ideal for larger family groups of up to 14.They are set away from the other two cottages on this site in pretty formal private gardens with lawns and plenty of mature trees for shade. The house has been renovated to offer comfortable accommodation but retaining its olde worlde character. On the ground floor is a large airy lounge with plenty of comfortable chairs and sofas, English TV and video. A fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, gas hob, large fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There âs loads of crockery and cutlery with plenty of serving dishes etc to and badminton.allow large groups to be catered for properly. Beamed dining room with two large antique tables,Hi Fi.Utility room with additional fridge/freezer, shower and toilet, washing machine and ironing board.
<br>Upstairs are a family room [double and single bed] with ensuite shower and toilet. Two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom

<br>The cottage has one large bedroom with two double beds. Downstairs is the bathroom and kitchen/lounge with a bed settee and log burner. Kitchen includes fridge, gas hob and microwave.

Locally there are lots of other sports available
Tennis, Horse riding,and fishing on the nearby lakes and rivers. Canoeing, Kayaking, wind surfing at Lac de Guerledan.
There is also an Aquacentre at Loudeac with a 70 metre water slide and swirling river!! And a new one at Saint Brieuc with a 80 metre toboggan run!!.
Shopping
Saint Nicolas du Pelem is a 5 minute drive away and has a baker,2 banks,garage,and a well stocked supermarket that has a good selection of everything as well as a fresh fish counter.The closest Hypermarket is Carrefour’s at Saint Brieuc which is huge,easy to find on a large retail development that has something of everything including Macdonald’s!!
Eating out
Saint Nicolas du Pelem has Gwendoline’s a pizza restaurant,Le petit Boeu’f{Bar des sports] whch serves good value meals including wine at lunch times for about 9 euros,and the Auberge Kreisker which has a good,varied menu and is child friendly as are most of the restaurants here. The Auberge Pellinec at Canihuel [10 minutes drive] overlooks a beautiful lake is open lunchtimes and evenings and the hosts Patricia and Oliver are very welcoming and have a superb menu at a very reasonable price.Try the Gourmet menu at 32.50 euros [5 courses] you will not be disappointed. For the seafood lovers we can recommend the Hotel/restaurant Henri lV at Rostrenen which do a marvellous “fruits de mer”
Beaches
There are some small beaches at Lac de Guerledan [15 minutes away] and under or about an hour are Les Rosaires at Saint Brieuc,Plouha,Saint Quay Portrieux,Binic and Sables D’or les Pins.
